My art at Chicago's Field Museum!In April I painted my first rain barrel for a community project in Oak Park, to be displayed in front of my boyfriend's record shop. [link] A woman saw it and loved it and had it featured for the opening of the water exhibit at the Field Museum. Apparently everyone at the opening loved it and it got a lot of interest, so since that barrel will be displayed outside my boyfriends shop for the summer, then auctioned in September, they had me paint a barrel especially for them. After the duration of the water exhibit, it will belong to the Oak Park Women's Voters League.
So if you are in or around Chicago, check out the barrel at the Field Museum starting Monday, July 13th! [link]
