The colors in the background are just what I'd like to be able to do, dark and antic, and bright and translucid. The glimpses of red in the sky just make me shivers. It's beautiful. As for the aspect of wet but still scratched texture. It make it ireeal, far away like a blurred dream but with bits of sudden clearness, cleanness, like a sharp idea that strikes you. I love the trait that revels the yellow. It gives life and light to the entire piece.
The rendering of light is great too. I almost blink while looking at the moon, because it seems whiter than the actual white. I wish I knew how to do that (I wish I knew make pieces like that at all anyway.. If you have some advices, even quick, I'm all ears.... )
I like the soft shade of blue in the back..; it makes it all eerie, like fog.
And the two igures, that comletes each other, the woman and the crow....Wonderful. Woman like a tree and yet so aerial in her low part. The crow really seems to be moving, and I like the aspect of its feathers... And teh two lights connetcing .. I really like this concept too.
When I look at this pic it really makes me dream. I have so many dreams or daydreams like this, this kind of dark but full of light peace but movement, mystery but yet obviousness, but I never get to picture them clearly.
