This is based on the song "Lovers End" by The Birthday Massacre.. I'm pleased with how it turned out.. and pleased with my blending of photo and painting..

I totally love the birthday massacre. I was actually transfixed by their amazing website for hours yesterday!! It's probably the best website I've ever seen.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The detail, the balance of colour across the canvas, the richness of it despite the narrow colour palette............... wow.

This picture is so very dynamic.. The characters and .. just everything is so distinct and atmospheric. I stared at it for quite a while... The trees in the background - at an angle - bring such a wonderful effect..

wow. :)
