I made this for my art history class. We have to do a presentation on a Saint, and draw a picture of them. I got Mary Magdalene. I kinda got carried away with the piece. Everyone else in the class probably didnt spend more than an hour on theirs. I'm turning it in late so maybe she'll give me extra credit..haha.

I really like how it turned out! I used a reference of a painting by Dolci for shading and colors here

-UPDATE- I fixed a few things that were bothering me. I made her chin smaller and her hand bigger.

This is so beautiful, it perfectly shows her pain, the tears are exquisitly running down her cheeks. The skin looks so nice, you did a really good job with the softening. I like how you added the hand to her chest, really well done!

wow really awesome! I just got finished doing a Renaissance art... project thing for Art history

I had to do a Magdalene too.
