This is an illustration assignment for class. I got to choose a book of my liking and redesign the cover. I chose the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books. I combined my initial pencil sketch along with digital painting to make this. I really like the result! I miss my paintings, and I miss combining traditional and digital media. Definitely more stuff like this in the future!

LOL awesome. I grew up on those books and I still have them. I kept them mostly for the drawings, they were insane to me when i was a kid. Those are what made me want to be an artist.

I sat here for a good few minutes deciding which I thought had a bigger 'pull' to it, and I really have to say the B&W one, even though I really love the colours of the coloured version. Great work on these, love the main character and the skulls [[:
