Victorian Steampunk Curios by asunder Victorian Steampunk Curios by asunder
Here is a Cabinet of Curiosities I made and have up for display & purchase at Horrorbles in Berwyn, IL
This took much time and many many objecs, some fascinating, some dull and ordinary, but put together make quite a collection!
The base for the piece is a vintage printers type tray.

Awesome I totally love it, I'm always savings little curios things, but the thing I like the most are gears and cogs from clocks :/
I'd definitely have one like that in my room <3

PS. Sorry for the poor grammar I'm a spanish speaker who hasn't spoken english in a while .-.

I love it! It's beautiful!!! Have you considered being a movie or stage set designer? Because I think you'd be pretty good at it. :aww:

I love looking at this and all the little bits and pieces that make up th collection. Is that large metal piece in front a pendulum from a grandfather clock?

there is an assemblage category now!
to change over: go into your deviations gallery, click on deviation, click on edit, change category (traditional-assemblage), click save at the very bottom of the page.

OH WOW LETTERPRESS TRAY.

This is freaky, because... we're actually studying Cabinets of Curiosities in my Art History class. Mind if I feature this in my journal? =)
